About this Event
Interwoven: Paddle Board Sound Bath at Prospect Lake
At The Station Foundation, we believe that restoration is not something we earn; it is something we practice. This gathering is designed to offer space for stillness, connection, and renewal in the midst of a life that often asks us to keep moving. This is more than time on the water. It is an invitation to pause.
Special Operations Forces spouses are invited to join us for a peaceful and immersive paddleboard sound bath experience on Prospect Lake. A guided sound bath uses gentle vibration and rhythm to activate the parasympathetic “rest and digest” system, allowing breath to deepen, muscles to soften, and the nervous system to settle. When experienced on the water, these effects are amplified. The natural movement of the lake creates a subtle, rhythmic sway that mirrors the body’s own internal cadence, helping to regulate the nervous system even further. Sound travels differently across water, more fluid, more expansive, allowing vibrations to be felt not just in the mind, but throughout the entire body.
Anchor yourself in the present moment, allowing the rhythm of the lake and the vibration of sound to quiet the noise we carry and restore a sense of inner steadiness.
