Sunderland Software City in collaboration with The National Innovation Centre for Data is hosting an International Women’s Day Data Science Event at The Catalyst on Friday 6th March from 13:30 – 16:30.
This event – which is completely free to attend – will provide you with a flavour of hands-on, practical skills and knowledge around data science as we together on a project to ‘give to gain’.
Led by Jenna Ingoe, Dr Ashmita Randhawa and expert data scientist, Louise Braithwaite MSc we will take you through a two workshop that will introduce you to LLMs and run an interactive session using Google’s Notebook LM.
After this, you will have the opportunity to network with all the other amazing women in attendance as well as allies who will join us for this portion of the event.
The International Women’s Day Data Science Event is open to anyone who identifies as a woman.
We've aimed to make this event as flexible and accessible as we can, and we'd love to see as many of you there as possible! #GiveToGain #IWD2026.
