About this Event
The International Peace Summit (IPS) returns for its landmark Second Edition on 17–18 September 2026 at the Barcelona Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria. Convened by the Africa Women Summit (AWS) and the Engage Empower Educate Initiative (EEEInitiative), the Summit will bring together more than 300 women leaders, peace practitioners, faith leaders, civil society actors, policymakers, and community influencers from across Africa under one transformative mandate
This second edition places two urgent and interconnected issues at its centre: religious freedom as a non-negotiable pillar of sustainable peace, and the formal recognition, training, and deployment of women Peace Ambassadors as frontline agents of reconciliation across Africa’s most fragile and conflict-affected communities.
