The 2026 International Blues Music Day promises to be another special annual event at the historic Mangrove Mountain community hall.Featuring
PJ O'Brien who reached the semi finals in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis has a slick style of guitar playing and songwriting that has seen him play some of Australia's biggest blues festivals. PJ’s music has been featured in Blues Revue (USA), Blues Blast (USA), Blues Matters (UK), Classic Rock's 'Blues' (UK), Rhythms (AUS) FHM (AUS) and Australian Guitar Magazine. Don't miss him with his all star band at the historic Mangrove Mountain Hall.
Jack & The Axes are from Newcastle and have been going from strength to strength with their powerful three-piece sound. Fresh from playing at the Gympie Muster and the Airlie Beach Festival of Music, they were also bound for Byron Bay Bluesfest.
Greg Nunan & The General Jacksons are currently riding high; their 3rd album, "Reds To Blues," has been in the top 10 of the Australian Blues & Roots Airplay Charts since the start of the year. Having played Woodford, Cronulla Jazz & Blues and Echuca Winter Blues Fest, these guys are on a roll.
Great food available for purchase, BYO drinks and snacks welcome. Camping sites available. All ages family friendly event. Doors open at 3pm, for 4pm start.
