About this Event
Come on out for Mira Barakat's intermediate classes in January. Mira is equally amazing at leading and following, and provides guidance on technique for both roles. She is an expert at communicating clearly to a large group.
These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. No partner necessary; the teacher encourages people to switch partners throughout the class.
Wednesdays, January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th
8:00-8:30 pm: practica
8:30-9:30 pm: intermediate tango
9:30-10:00 pm: practica
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions!

The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes). Mira teaches a beginner class on the same dates at 7:00 pm, right before the intermediate class. Everyone is welcome to dance in both practicas.
Drinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes. Event organized by Lindsey Newbold
