Get ready to swing, twist and twirl with us on Monday 17th March 2025. We will be celebrating the joy of music & dance with an afternoon Tea Dance! Join us at Stamford Arts Centre for an unforgettable experience that bridges generations and memories.
Dust off your finest party attire for Stamford Arts Centre's ballroom is the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of music, laughter and dancing. Live music from a talented band will set the tone, while professional dancers lead ‘instant dance classes’ - this year in the swing style.
It's all about inclusivity, making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable! Dancing will take a gender-neutral approach with group dances and seated dancing to encourage everyone to join in. Plus there will be performances adding extra sparkle to the afternoon as well as tea & cake! From beginners taking their first steps to experienced dancers flaunting their skills – everyone's invited to this rhythmic Swing rendezvous.
The event is fully funded and therefore FREE to attend** however as places are limited, please only book a ticket if you are sure you are able to attend. Over 18s only. This, along side all of the Cheer Club events, is a RADICALLY INCLUSIVE EVENT. Those with disabilities or other challenges are encouraged to join us.
EARLY ACCESS
For a smooth and accessible entrance, anyone with mobility needs, wheelchair use, or other accessibility requirements must book an Early Access Ticket. This ticket grants entry 15 minutes before the event opens, ensuring you have time to find a seat comfortably. Advance booking is required to guarantee appropriate accommodations.

**Non-Attenders who have not cancelled their place via email may be invoiced the face price of the ticket at £25 and will be liable for payment
These sessions are FREE to join but you must book a place.
We are a Not-For-Profit Organisation and we often rely of the goodwill of our volunteers and befrienders as part of this project. If you would consider donating something small for your ticket then we would be very grateful for the help to cover running costs for our Cheer Club events and wider Programme!

What is the Cheer Club?
The Cheer Club is a group made up of various local communities who enjoy a programme of creative events to connect the groups throughout the year, provide opportunities to give a little back and get a little too.
Over the next year, The Cheer Club will be enjoying social events together, watching performances from artists, and sharing a little bit of love and laughter!
