Join me for a relaxed and informative coffee morning exploring how horses perceive the world through their senses — and what this means for their behaviour, confidence, and learning.
Horses experience their environment very differently from us. By understanding how they see, hear, smell, and feel the world around them, we can communicate more clearly, reduce tension, and support calmer, more trusting partnerships.
During the session we’ll cover:
• How horses use their senses to assess safety and make decisions
• Why everyday situations can feel overwhelming or confusing to horses
• How sensory awareness influences behaviour, confidence, and responses
• Practical ways to adapt handling and training with the horse’s perspective in mind
There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion, questions, and shared experiences, all in a friendly, supportive setting.
Cost - £25 including coffee/tea/biscuits
