The Mothers of Lovers is a New York–based indie rock & roll duo formed by Neil Tucci (guitar, lead vocals) and Alex Miranda (bass, vocals). Their music combines the edge of classic rock with the melody and atmosphere of modern indie—clean guitars, strong bass lines, and honest vocals that move between upbeat and emotional without feeling overproduced.
Neil and Alex are known for being fully themselves both on stage and online: funny, a little odd, and completely laid-back. Their personality and style have earned them growing attention in the New York scene as they continue building momentum through new releases, recurring shows, and a distinct presence that stands out.
