Bio:
Lu Nikx, named after the moon, is a pop/rnb/dancehall fusion recording and performing artist. Born in Brooklyn, NY to two parents from the country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, she’s carved out a successful career as a dancer, actress, and songwriter. She’s written for artists like Marlena Moniece and the legendary girl group Shades. Dancing, Caribbean culture, sensuality and spirituality inspires the creation of her music. She uses music to connect with listeners in a spirit of Self celebration, inspiring others to “talk their ish” and embrace all parts of who they are. Her music is described as a melodic fantasy, having bounce and rhythm with colorful melodies, along with Caribbean Rock & Reggae undertones. She is a full on entertainer and enjoys sharing her love for dance and music with others whenever and wherever she’s asked to perform.
