Bio:
DECOSTER UNIVERSE is the artist name for Paul "Tigerman" DeCoster. The music has as its root the sounds of artists that you might have heard on MTV back in the 80s. There are songs of longing, some of celebration, and ones of hope.Having studied classical guitar, Tigerman was surrounded by music coming from the streets of New York and absorbed the elements of jazz fusion in his writing. As time went on and he began writing songs, he found that the harmonies took from that and added to the infectious 80s pop that got him excited. He currently runs an open mic every Tuesday at the Garlic and Olive Restaurant on Cortelyou Road in Brooklyn, NY.
