About this Event

This February, Make Space invites you to slow down and make something soft, tactile, and lasting.

Make A Rug is an intimate rug tufting workshop led by textile artist Natalie Grant at Maison Jacquard Inc.. Together, we’ll explore the basics of rug tufting and create a small handmade rug from start to finish.

This gathering is Valentine-coded but not Valentine-exclusive. Come with a friend, a partner, or solo. This is about making with care, working with your hands, and sharing space with others who love creating.

Because of drying and finishing time, your rug will stay with us after the workshop. Participants will return in two weeks to pick up their finished rug, professionally glued and shaved.
