Brooklyn based, beloved Safka enters the music scene as a 4 piece exploring the intersections of folk, alternative rock, and blues music. Expanding on the rich atmosphere layered melodies and textures present in her song writing, Sophia Kayafas, (guitar, vocals), Angela Gram( guitar), Ethan Lucas (drums), And Joe Rogers (bass) blend radical honesty with soulful introspection. While the band's unique sound is powered in collaboration, Safka's arresting performances explore themes of identity, vulnerability, and resilience.
