Bio:
Through a life of seeing sounds and hearing color, 24-year-old artist and producer Annie Elise is inspired by her synesthesia. Originally a classically trained violinist, Annie’s interest in music stems from the neurological condition, even referring to herself as a “conductor for color” as she creates music that produces colors she likes to see.

Originally from Amish Country, PA and now living in New York City, Annie’s path in the industry has been anything but typical - After a diagnosis of focal dystonia in her left hand halted her studies of classical violin, she shifted her focus instead to music production. In 2022, Annie was handpicked to join indie label Nettwerk Music Group’s A&R team, developing eclectic indie pop and alternative acts like PEGGY, Chris James, and Fish in a Birdcage.

Her official remixes for Old Sea Brigade and Axel Flóvent saw big streaming success while also marking a new sonic era. “For so long I didn’t want to play my violin, because of the effect focal dystonia has on my playing. I thought it wasn’t good enough. But I’ve spent a lot of time figuring out how to play my instrument and I got to really explore that with the remixes.”

In addition to her A&R work, Annie also keeps busy as a string arranger, lending her brain to artists like David Archuleta, Mon Rovîa, and Orville Peck.
