About this Event
The Dr. Walter L. Smith Library in partnership with Project S.W.A.N. is hosting “Inspire Tampa: Revitalize, Restore, Renew" benefit dinner on December 19, 2024 to raise urgently needed funds for building renovations and repairs due to severe damage caused by Hurricane Milton. To reach its goal of raising one million dollars, the library is rallying Tampa community members to join in protecting and preserving its invaluable collection of rare books and historical artifacts.
This elegant event will be held at The Skills Center, 5107 N 22nd St, Tampa, FL 33610, and begin with an exclusive cocktail hour at 5pm, followed by an upscale dinner experience at 7pm. The cocktail hour, sponsored by Victory George Distillery, will feature an open bar and premium cigars for each patron to enjoy. The main event will host a silent auction, an exclusive viewing of artwork by Jean-Michel Basquiat, live music, guest speakers, and a gourmet dinner prepared by Chef Amadeus, Winner of Food Network's Extreme Chef Mexican Showdown.
