Splitting his creative life between Berlin and New York, Attias has carved out a reputation for his extraordinary stylistic openness. Since the 1990s, he has been a vital force in the NYC scene, collaborating with legends like Anthony Braxton and Paul Motian. His music is a beautiful paradox: intricately structured, yet entirely spontaneous, physical, and open.

The European sister formation of Attias’ New York project Kardamon Fall. The music revolves around transformation, endings, and new beginnings—a bittersweet ambivalence unfolding entirely in the present. The kaleidoscopic sound and infectious energy of Evi Filippou meet the elastic, singing grooves of Miles Perkin and the multi-dimensional drumming of Samuel Ber. Together, they create an organic, collective improvisation full of surprising turns and vital energy.
Full Fathom Fantom (Debut Concert)
In this brand-new trio, three highly independent musical voices encounter each other in close, vigilant interaction. Plumbing the depths of harmony in a fluid, wave-like motion, composed structures and free improvisation intertwine. Featuring master pianist Achim Kaufmann and the driving forces of drummer Devin Gray, this performance marks the debut of a trio whose roots plunge deep into the future.
