About this Event
Tech is for everyone!
Explore career paths in technology and assistive technology—from early education to college, career shifts, and multicultural journeys. Learn how innovation creates opportunity and how tech knowledge can benefit any professional path.
Participants will hear from an Inglis Assistive Technology Program Manager, who will share his career journey and how innovation can increase independence and access for individuals with disabilities. Representatives from BotsIQ will discuss how technology fuels entrepreneurship and community impact, and the founder of Testa-Seat will explain how tech supports accessibility in education and testing environments.
A hands-on activity will allow attendees to create a small project to take home, making the experience interactive and practical. Together, these stories and activities aim to inspire curiosity, expand awareness, and empower participants to see themselves in technology-related careers built on creativity, inclusion, and opportunity for all.
