About this Event
Inner Child — Children’s Art Exhibition & Music Experience
📅 Date: Sunday, 7 December 2025
📍 Location: Firepit Art Gallery
👧 Age group: 3-12 years old
🌈 About the Event
Every child carries a world of imagination within.
Inner Child celebrates that creative voice through a heartfelt children’s art exhibition and an immersive music-and-art experience designed for ages 4–9.
Children will explore how music feels in their bodies and express those emotions through colour, movement, and drawing — guided by Dr Jing Wang and Octavia Yang.
Together, they invite children to listen, move, and paint their feelings — transforming sound into colour and imagination into form.
💫 Why Join
In today’s fast-paced world, this event offers children and parents a safe, friendly, and inspiring space to experience art and music together. Through hands-on creative activities, visual art, and live music, children can explore their emotions, express themselves freely, and engage all their senses in playful discovery.
🎨 Art allows children to give form to feelings that words cannot capture, nurturing imagination and self-expression.
🎶 Music supports focus, emotional awareness, and empathy, helping children tune into their inner world while enjoying the joy of sound and rhythm.
🌱 These creative experiences build confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence — all essential for healthy development.
For parents, it’s also an invitation to reconnect with your own inner child, to see, feel, and create alongside your children in a relaxed, artistic environment, and to enjoy the shared wonder of discovery.

🕰 Schedule
🎵 10:00 – 11:00 | Music & Art Experience (Ticketed)
Children will embark on a unique, immersive journey combining live music and creative art. Guided by Dr Jing Wang and Octavia Yang, participants will:
- Feel music with the body: Children will listen to live piano performance and explore how rhythm, melody, and harmony can move their bodies and spark imagination.
- Express emotions through art: Using colour, shapes, and spontaneous drawing, children translate the feelings music evokes into visual creations.
- Build sensory awareness and focus: Activities encourage mindfulness, attention, and connecting the senses to emotions.
- Boost confidence and creativity: By experimenting with movement and art in a supportive environment, children develop self-expression and creative problem-solving skills.
This is a hands-on, multi-sensory experience where children discover the joy of expressing themselves while parents witness the transformative power of art and music on emotional and creative growth.
🖼 11:30 – 13:00 | Children’s Art Exhibition & Christmas Activities(Free Entry)
Showcasing original artworks by children aged 4–9, this exhibition celebrates each child’s unique inner world, creativity, and self-expression. The pieces reflect a wide range of emotions, ideas, and imagination — from playful doodles and vibrant abstract shapes to thoughtful reflections of what matters to them.
Visitors will see how children translate feelings, curiosity, and personal experiences into visual form, creating a window into their thoughts, dreams, and perspectives. The exhibition highlights the value of letting children explore freely, encouraging confidence, emotional awareness, and pride in their creative achievements.
