Ink and Inspiration - A Poetry Workshop with Chris Arning

Chris will share his passion for poetry as more than a hobby. Covering the core elements of poetry: FEELING, RHYTHM, FORM, SOUND, ARGUMENT, there will be inspiration for all to connect with their own poetic voice and produce a poem of their own.

For Toastmasters seeking to improve their public speaking skills, engaging with poetry gives you a bunch of transferable skills including: improve speech writing, more emotional awareness of the power of words, expanding one’s vocabulary and if you learn it by heart it can even be a hack for easier speech memorisation. This is a Berkeley Square Speakers event but we will be opening up to the public after 2 weeks. Due to Space limitations we only have 24 places, so get tickets now. £15 for members.
