Informal Plein Air Meetup at Meadowvale Conservation Park. Sauga Plein Air Group is an unstructured collective of artists, who are interested in informally meeting up at different locations throughout Mississauga public parks and heritage locations.
The idea behind these informal meet ups is to enjoy art in publicly accessible parks, community spaces and heritage locations that Mississauga has preserved for the public to enjoy.
We meet as friends and to raise awareness on how integral these spaces are to human health and wellbeing, and how they are an important part of building thriving communities and also highlight social responsibility for environmental and biodiversity conservation.
Participation Liability Disclaimer:
* Sauga Plein Air Group organizers are not responsible for any personal injury or equipment damage.
* Image Use Consent: Unless otherwise stated otherwise, your participating in these informal meetups, artists consent to the possible use of images of the artists and their art at the meetups, for promotional purposes (social media, flyers, advertising) before, during and after the event.
* Indemnification: The artist or others who choose to attend these informal art related meetups agree to indemnify and hold harmless, Sauga Plein Air Group and or organizers and or volunteers from any personal injury, accident claims, damages, or expenses arising from their participation.”
It is up to the individual to adhere to all city of Mississauga and Parks & Recreational by-laws and rules.

These are self directed, independent, meetups and no sales of art or money will be expected or endorsed at these informal meetups.
*Bring your medium of choice, your own sketchbooks, paint station setups, etc.
*Dress for the weather conditions and wear appropriate clothing to paint outdoors. Also bring your own bug repellent spray, sunscreen and fluids to keep hydrated. Be aware of tick, mosquito bite prevention and protocols.
*Ensure you set up in a safe spot, on city maintained paths, and avoid blocking foot or bike traffic flow.
*Always be sensitive to the environment around you and setup where it is safe and away from poisons plants or animals. Avoid trampling on eco sensitive areas.
*Do not throw out your paint water or solvents into the park / city grounds and try and leave the area cleaner than you found it.
