LIMITED CAPACITY EVENT
Infinity Machine is a multifaceted recording and live performance duo lead by Gregory Droggitis (Gee Dee) and John MacLean (The Juan MacLean). Birthed in the world of ceremonial psychedelics, they have released three LP’s of improvised music on DFA Records and have brought their live performances out of those private underground spaces into public realms like churches, music festivals, and theaters; any place that offers a chance for groups of people to come together in quiet meditation and reflection. Their influences range from early New Age and Ambient music of the 1980’s to World Music to Amazonian plant medicine ceremonial vibrations, interspersed with sparkly otherworldly synthesizer sounds. Their intention is to create a guided sound journey that allows participants to navigate altered states of consciousness, whether induced through meditation, breath work, or plant and fungal spirits. The sound ceremony is both a prayer and a meditation guided with flutes, gongs, drums, synthesizers, and a wide variety of other vibrational instruments, always improvised in a co-created space meant to invoke the mystical.
*This sound ceremony typically lasts around two hours, though it can stretch longer if the group is calling for an extended journey.
*There will be a time after the journey to come together in community over tea and fruit and integrate a bit before exiting the space.
*Mats will NOT be provided. Please bring your own yoga mats, blankets, pillows, or whatever else you might want to make yourself more comfortable lying down on a hardwood floor.
NO LATE ENTRY. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME.
