Infinite Summer Book Club introductory meeting!
We will be launching a special book club that will span over the course of 4 months this summer. Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace was published in 1996 and is considered one of the great encyclipedic novels of its time. Similar to novels like Ulysses by James Joyce or Moby-Dick; or The Whale by Herman Melville, Infinite Jest presents an unconventional and complex narritive that has proven to challenge and intrigue the bravest of readers. Infinite Jest is set in a dystopian future that exposes themes of addiction, depression, obsession, entertainment, and the mad hunt for purpose.
If you ever wanted to dive into this 1,000 page novel, now is the time to venture in. This book is best digested with friends.
