Faro is the musical project of Chavo Gomez (drums), Jack Lee (trumpet), and Jake Kostuchuk (guitar). Inspired by their surroundings on the west coast of Canada, Faro creates vast soundscapes reminiscent of the oceans, forests, and mountains that surround them. The band aims to explore the subconscious and physical nature of playing music, as well as deep listening to one another. Through walls of noise and chaos, pretty melodies unfold and reveal themselves to the listener. Their debut EP "Reminiscence" is available now.

Frankie's After Dark takes place every Friday & Saturday night at Frankie's Jazz Club (755 Beatty) at 11PM. Tickets are $10 and are added to your bill at the end of the night. This series is curated & presented by Infidels Jazz.
