This exhibition explores weaving as both method and metaphor, as each of these artists take different approaches to explore identity, family, history, and culture.
This free event includes an exhibition tour, followed by an open discussion and a hands-on activity inspired by the exhibition, led by Métis textile artist Sara McCreary, with an elder present, on Friday, March 6, from 2 - 5 PM at the Art Gallery of Regina, 2420 Elphinstone St.
Sara will be guiding a making activity inspired by the exhibition. No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore and learn in a social environment! Light snacks and refreshments are provided.
