Come and join us at the Gallery to hear Sharyn Egan, Janine McAullay Bott, Beverly Thomson and Rickeeta Walley speak about artwork that is featured in the 'Stuffed, Bolstered and Upholstered' exhibition. The artists will detail their creative processes and how their choice of materials contribute to the sharing of personal stories and cultural knowledge.Dr Jessyca Hutchens, Director of the Berndt Museum, will host the discussion.
This event is co-presented by the Berndt Museum and Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery.

Beverly Thomson is a Yamatji woman living on Wardandi Country who is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in pottery, weaving and “dirty pot” eco-dyeing. She is known for combining different mediums in interesting ways.
Rickeeta Walley is a proud Nyoongar woman with a deep love of Country and the natural environment. She is an Aboriginal Liaison Officer at Kings Park and also works within her family business, Aboriginal Productions, as a cultural educator, performer and researcher.
