Join us for our third annual Indigenous Film Night, an evening rooted in story, community, and connection to the land.
We'll be showcasing a powerful lineup of Indigenous films that highlight the deep relationships between culture, identity, and the outdoors. Stick around after the screenings to hear from filmmakers and community youth leaders as they share insights and reflections on the stories being told.
This year, we're honoured to welcome Connor Ryan (@sacredstoke) - a proud Hunkpapa Lakota skier and advocate. Raised in the homelands of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute peoples, Connor's work is grounded in reconnecting, decolonizing, and honouring all his relations through movement on the land.
✨This night is more than just film; it's about community, learning, and creating space in the outdoors for everyone.
All proceeds go directly towards supporting the work of Soul of Miistaki and The Howl Experience.

Mountain Access highlights the vital work of Connor Ryan, Ellen Bradley, and Native Youth Outdoors as they strive to bridge this gap through the IKON Mountain Access Program. By creating direct opportunities and fostering a new generation of skiers and riders, they are proving that the desire is there, it's the access that needs to change.

For Lakota skier and activist Connon Ryan, the weight of the world is a constant presence. CommonUnity is a work of visual poetry and movement, showing how skiing and snowboarding can be an outlet that teaches us how to feel brave, free, and connected.
MuuxTuu: First of Many Together
Here, There, Everywhere @dvrgntminds meets with the trail crew to learn how the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Nation is balancing the preservation and development on the sacred land of Čumaata, with the goal of becoming the first culturally aware trail network. They are using trail building and mountain biking as a new opportunity for their community to connect with nature and to share their culture with visitors.

A Bow Valley-based charity offering land-based programs for youth (14-35), bringing Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth together through connection, community, and hands-on learning.
