Claiming influence from Hank Sr. to Social D and including the one I can *really* hear, Whiskeytown, the Urbane Cowboys pump out a pop infused brand of alt.country/y’allternative/cow punk/what ever the cool kids are calling it these days.
With a resume that includes 15 years of national and college circuit touring, Shawn Kyle has a voice and musicianship that can effortlessly navigate through decades and styles upon request. Rock, country and sing along music from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s are fair game, as are Classic Hits from 70’s and 80’s, Hip College and Mainstream pop and rock of the 90’s and 2000’s and more. Shawn was a part of our booking, performing, tshirt and web design etc. for many years and we are excited to have him perform for our 15th Anniversary! Don't miss it!
