About this Event
Sweaty dancefloor. Low lights. The 2000s & 2010s indie bangers you need to dance yrself clean.
It's been a long time since Kimber (Nonsense at Noni's, Death From Below, Indie Sleaze) and Octopoda (aka Preston Craig) (Decatur Social Club, Afterlife, KissAtlanta) have played a party together. It's Nonsense at Noni's meets Decatur Social Club, two of Atlanta's indie sleaze institutions, finally together again to destroy the same dancefloor in 2026. If you were at either one of those iconic parties in the 2000s and 2010s, you already know what this is going to be. If you weren't, you'll understand the hype. This is the real Indie Sleaze.
Throw on eyeliner. Pull out your deepest V or your American Apparel gold leggings. Sweep your bangs to the side. Let's make some blurry memories together.

What is indie sleaze?
"Sweaty floors, skinny jeans and angular indie rock. The term ‘indie sleaze’ was coined in 2021 to encapsulate the grimy, energetic, carefree sound and aesthetic of a scene which emerged in the early noughties. The music of indie sleaze all shared a distinctive 'hedonistic' aesthetic, one which prevailed in the music videos and the fashion of its artists, in their low-maintenance sometimes kooky clothing, a 'partying chic'."
