About this Event
Join us for a one-of-a-kind Indian contemporary dance workshop on thursday 6 April, taught by the talented Aparajita Burjwal. Aparajita has more than 7 years of experience teaching, choreographing, and performing. She holds an MA in Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and has trained extensively in both kathak and contemporary dance forms. Visit her instagram page to view her work.
In this workshop, Aparajita will guide you through a beautiful choreography set to the iconic melody of 'Snehithane', from the film Alaipayuthey (2001). You'll learn the basics of both kathak and contemporary dance forms, and develop your technique and style under her expert guidance.
The workshop will also include a technique-based dynamic warm-up and a fun photo and video shoot at the end. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to expand their dance skills and repertoire. Plus, if you bring two or more friends with you, you'll receive a 20% discount on the workshop fee! Use code friends20 on the combo ticket.
