About this Event
Shelley will share insights from her two decades in academia, having joined the University as a practising designer following roles in leading studios in London and Manchester. From subject specialist to influential sector leader, her journey reflects a deep commitment to creative education and its transformative potential.
In this keynote, Shelley will explore her passion for ‘practising design’ beyond building or making, and how design thinking, anthropology and co-design shape her everyday leadership. Drawing on experiences across both practice and academia, she will advocate for the power of creativity to drive meaningful social and educational change.
