The name comes from our RD’s favorite race, Crazy Mountain 100, and his favorite place to train, Great Bear Ski Valley.This is one challenging course, est. 1,200’ of climbing per 6-ish mile loop. We will be starting in front of the Bear Den (Chalet) which will be open for whomever may want to stop by for food, maybe grab a beverage, and watch people run down the ski hill to the start/finish line.
This is the ultimate celebration of the trail and ultra communities.
Start times:
50k: 10:15 AM
30k: 12:15 PM
20k: 2:15 PM
All races to conclude by 6:15 PM. Which mean the following will be the cutoff times for an official finish:
50k: 8 hours
30k: 6 hours
20k: 4 hours
