About this Event
There is a liberated version of you, powerful, radiant, and free, that longs to be lived. Yet too often, the pain from the past, cultural conditioning, familial and social expectations, fears and inner blocks keep us playing small, repeating old patterns, or hesitating at the edge of our own greatness.
In Your Power is a monthly circle for women and femmes created to help you remember who you truly are. We will come together in sisterhood to reconnect with our bodies, awaken our voices, and step into our untamed self-expression.
Each gathering includes:
- A guided talk
- Journaling & reflection
- Circle sharing
- Somatic practices
... so that you can break free and unlock your full potential for power, pleasure and impact.
You’re welcome to join for one gathering, a few, or the full series. Every circle is a chance to return home to yourself; held in sisterhood, more alive, more courageous, and more in your power.

Hi! I'm Amal!
I’m a queer, cisgender woman from West Asia, colonially known as the Middle East. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, I was covered head to toe since third grade and in a fixed marriage at the age of 18. I moved to Canada when I was 24 and have transmuted the pain into my power.
Today, I'm on a mission to help women & femmes to unlock their full potential for power, pleasure, and impact. I also work with purpose-driven businesses to create cultures of equity, inclusion and belonging. These spaces bridge the personal and the political, the intimate and the systemic, offering room for both grief and joy, regulation and resistance, ache and liberation.
I'm a TEDx speaker, was recognized as a Top 40 Under 40, got featured on Nasdaq as a Woman Leader to Watch, and had the privilege of being a guest on Oprah Winfrey's show.
On any given day, you can find me tending to my garden, dancing, writing my memoir (working title: From Burka to Bikini, or procrastinating by reading other memoirs haha), going for long walks, dreaming and gathering around the dinner table.
