In-Studio – Abstract Pastel Silk Scarf Workshop

Join us for a fun and creative abstract silk scarf painting workshop. You will use silk dyes and wax to create your own unique, abstract silk scarf by incorporating contrasting colours on fabric.

Participants will learn how to create abstract patterns using wet on wet techniques, gutta outliners, wax resists, etc., while learning about the use of colour and design.

We will also learn how to wash and care for our silk scarf creations.

No experience necessary! All materials will be provided for this session. Just bring your creativity!

This workshop includes:

A 9x72 inch silk scarf.

We will use the following materials:

• Silk dyes and gutta outliners
• Paraffin wax
• Silk brushes and other assorted paint brushes

Smocks will be provided for the workshop.

Refreshments available for purchase at the cafe.
