Mental Health First Aid Training
Join us for an in-person Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training at Association House of Chicago! This course equips participants with the skills to identify, understand, and respond to mental health and substance use challenges. The training covers:

Risk factors and warning signs of mental health concerns

Key information on common disorders/conditions like depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and substance use.

A 5-step action plan for supporting someone in crisis and non-crisis situations
Professional, peer, and self-help resources.

MHFA is evidence-based and nationally recognized for its effectiveness in increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and empowering individuals to provide support.

Whether you're an educator, healthcare worker, HR professional, community leader, or just someone who wants to make a difference, this training is for you!
