About this Event
PLEASE NOTE-THIS IS NOT A CPD TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONALS AND IS ONLY FOR PARENTS AND CARERS OF TEENS WHO LIVE IN THE BOROUGH OF GREENWICH
The transition from primary to secondary school can be both exciting and nerve-wracking for our children.
From our experience of working with families, we know that many of the common problems parents face with their teens, begin at this transitional stage. It's a big change for everyone, which is why we want to equip you with the tools and approaches that will set you up for success as your teen develops and your relationship evolves.
By the end of this workshop you will know:
1. Common worries about starting secondary school and how to address them.
2. The difference between primary and secondary school.
3. How to appropriately advocate for your teen, while giving them more freedom and independence.
4. How to help your teen navigate new friendships at their school.
This workshop is part of our wider series of workshops for parents and carers in Greenwich. Please visit out Eventbrite page to book on to any other workshops which may be of interest.
