ABOUT THE DESIGNER:

Inspired by the graffiti-covered streets of Hackney Wick, “POW!” reimagines the bold visual language of street art into expressive menswear.

The collection explores communication and identity — using fashion as a new medium of self-expression and visual dialogue.

Recycled fabrics, digital printing, and 3D padded lettering bring the dynamism of graffiti into structured garments with an urban edge.

I studied MA Menswear at London College of Fashion, where I explored how visual language
can be translated into garment design through experimentation with form, texture, and typography. I grew up in South Korea, and after moving to London, I was deeply inspired by the vibrant graffiti and street culture of East London. The bold colours and spontaneous energy of the area strongly influence my creative direction and visual language. I’m inspired by designers like Issey Miyake, Junya Watanabe, and Walter Van Beirendonck — each known for their experimental approach to form, technology, and storytelling. Their ability to push boundaries and express strong identities through design continues to influence my creative process.

I often work with recycled fabrics, digital printing,
and 3D padded lettering to transform flat graphic elements into tactile, wearable forms. Sustainability and storytelling are always at the core of my process.
