About this Event
In this class, we will explore single and double column techniques and see how they come together to create a complete tie known as Futomomo.
Futomomo, which translates to “thigh binding,” is a beautiful and versatile tie that involves folding the leg and securing it to the thigh using a combination of single and double columns.
We’ll start with a brief refresher on single and double column foundations, giving everyone a chance to feel confident with the basics. From there, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of building a Futomomo shibari harness from start to finish, with plenty of time to move at a comfortable pace.
Please bring your own ropes. A limited number of ropes will also be available on-site if needed.
This class is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and fun—a relaxed environment where everyone can learn, practice, and enjoy the art of shibari together.
