In Her Colours: Women Into Visual Arts (WIVA) Exhibition

‘In her Colours’ is a Women Into Visual Art Exhthe culmination of over three years hard work, which has taken the essence of an idea from Nigeria and transplanted it in Salford, where it has flourished.

The Women Into Visal Art Programme supported women to use art as a catalyst to their own growth through the development of their art and creativity, and also by ensuring the women artists directly benefited financially from the sale of their artwork, thus providing an economic basis for their talents.

Join us for a fun and inspiring day celebrating women artists and their amazing work from Women Into Visual Arts workshops, Sister Art from Nigeria and our Local artists who particpated and won the In Her Colours Art Competition In March.

The Open Day Event for the Exhibition is a free in-person community event on Monday 13th July, 2026, 11am-2pm. showcasing vibrant Visual Art pieces that bring creativity to life. This Summer Exhibition at Manchester Central Library will run from 13th July to 23rd September, 2026 with a brilliant showcase of artwork by women from Salford and Nigeria. Whether you're an art lover or just curious, it's a great chance to see the power of creativity of local artists and the Nigerian excellence!
