About this Event
About the Speaker
We are delighted to welcome Brigadier Rhoderick Jones, a distinguished veteran of both the Queen’s Own Hussars and the Queen’s Royal Irish Hussars. Drawing on decades of service and deep regimental knowledge, Brigadier Jones has authored In Peace and War: The Story of The Queen’s Royal Hussars (The Queen’s Own and Royal Irish) — a superbly researched insider’s history of the UK’s elite armoured regiment.
His book spans over 300 years of service to the Crown, capturing the dedication, bravery, commitment, and unmistakable sense of humour that define the regiment. Highly recommended by the Military Historical Society, the work is dedicated to the officers, soldiers, and horses of all seven cavalry regiments whose stories it brings together.
