Impulse Basskultur feat. WZ and Urte [Box 2 @ Gretchen, Berlin]

Endlich ist es wieder so weit! IMPULSE BASSKULTUR freut sich, Euch am 9. November wieder ein delikates Line-Up in die Box II unseres geliebten GRETCHEN zaubern zu können. Unsere Gäste haben wieder sehr weite Wege auf sich genommen, um uns in dieser Nacht mit ihrer Musik verwöhnen zu können.
Tief aus dem Süden der Republik, nämlich aus Freiburg im wunderschönen Schwarzwald, kommt uns URTE besuchen. Als fester Bestandteil der dortigen Bassmusikszene bereichert sie die Kultur nun schon seit Jahren. Gemeinsam mit ANOUC betreibt sie das Label EDEN, auf welchem sich auch ihre eigenen Veröffentlichungen finden. Zudem fanden ihre Werke auch auf COYOTE RECORDS, WARNING, INFINITO AUDIO und anderen Labels ein warmes Zuhause und ernteten sehr positives Feedback. Musikalisch hat sie ihre eigene Sprache entdeckt, möchte Grenzen einreißen und verbindet so die Tangenten Breakbeats, Trance und Ambient zu einem ganz eigenen, eklektischen Sound, der sich nur sehr ungern in Schubladen pressen lässt. Wir freuen uns dementsprechend sehr, URTE bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen!
WZ wird Freundinnen des „klassischen“ Dubstep-Sounds kein Unbekannter sein. Hat der Tscheche doch schon auf Labels wie ARTIKAL, FATKIDONFIRE, INNAMIND und anderen veröffentlicht und ist aktiver Teil von SHAKHTA RECORDS. Seine Produktionen bestechen durch einen extrem basslastigen Sound und diese Prise an gewisser Lässigkeit, die wir alle so sehr an diesem Sound lieben – 110% Gunfinga-Material! Dort beginnt allerdings erst seine musikalische Reise; erforscht er doch in seinen Podcasts auch Jungle, Downtempo, Breakbeats usw.. So war es keine Frage, ihn zu uns einzuladen. Wir dürfen also sehr gespannt sein, was WZ für uns den ganzen Weg aus Ostrava mitgebracht hat! Pull up!
Und auf dem Mainfloor gibt es mit einer HOSPITALITY NIGHT und den Headlinern LONDON ELECTRICITY, BOP und WINSLOW echte DNB-Royalty zu hören! So verspricht diese Nacht mal wieder (fast) keine Bassmusik-Wünsche offen zu lassen! Wir freuen uns schon sehr und hoffen auf ein zahlreiches Wiedersehen mit euch!

"Finally, the time has come again! IMPULSE BASSKULTUR is excited to present you with a delicious line-up in Box II of our beloved GRETCHEN on November 9th. Our guests have once again traveled great distances to treat us with their music on this night.
Coming from deep in the south of the country, namely Freiburg in the beautiful Black Forest, URTE will be visiting us. As a vital part of the local bass music scene, she has been enriching the culture for years now. Together with ANOUC, she runs the label EDEN. Additionally, her works have found a warm home on labels like COYOTE RECORDS, WARNING, INFINITO AUDIO, and others, while receiving very positive feedback in the process. Musically, she has discovered her own language and wants to blur down boundaries, and thus connects the tangents of breakbeats, trance, and ambient into a unique eclectic sound that is very reluctant to fit into boxes. We are therefore very pleased to welcome URTE in our Box!
WZ will be no stranger to fans of "classic" dubstep sound. The Czech artist has already released music on labels like ARTIKAL, FATKIDONFIRE, INNAMIND, etc. and is an active part of SHAKHTA RECORDS. His productions stand out due to an extremely bass-heavy sound and that touch of laid-back vibe that we all love so much about this genre – 110% Gunfinga material! However, this is just the beginning of his musical journey; as he also explores jungle, downtempo, breakbeats, etc., in his podcasts. So it was a real no-brainer to invite him to us. Thuss we're looking extremly forward to what WZ has brought all the way from Ostrava! Pull up!
On the main floor, there will be true DNB royalty with a HOSPITALITY NIGHT featuring headliners LONDON ELECTRICITY, BOP, and WINSLOW! This night promises once again to leave (almost) no wishes unfulfilled! We are very much looking forward to it and hope for a large reunion with you!
