About this Event

Play games, create bold characters, and perform improvised scenes in the style of Shakespeare. No tights, degree, or deep knowledge of the Bard required.

In this lively 4-week class, you’ll explore the world of Elizabethan theatre through movement, language, rhythm, status, and big theatrical choices. Whether you’re an improv student looking to stretch your skills or a curious beginner who wants a fun, creative challenge, this class will help you step into Shakespeare’s world with confidence and play.

You’ll improvise scenes, perform monologues, explore heightened language, and play exercises designed to unlock poetic thinking, physical expression, and spontaneous storytelling. You do not need to have read or seen a Shakespeare play to enjoy this class. You only need a willingness to jump in, play boldly, and have fun.
