About this Event
Ready to add more tools to your improv toolbox? This workshop is all about learning and playing new short-form improv games like the ones you see in Theatresports. Whether you have finished Improv 200, feel like you keep reaching for the same familiar moves in your Harolds, or simply want more stage time in a fun, supportive room, this class will give you a chance to expand your game repertoire, sharpen your instincts, and play hard. We will pack the evening with fast, lively games that build confidence, stretch your skills, and remind you why playing is the best way to learn.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll learn how to expand your improv game repertoire with fast, playable structures inspired by Theatresports, so you always have something fresh to bring to class, jams, rehearsals, and the stage. You’ll practice making quick, confident choices, adapting to different game styles, heightening the fun, supporting your scene partners, and finding the rhythm of each game without overthinking it. You’ll also get more time on your feet, building the flexibility, playfulness, and stage confidence that make short-form improv feel sharp, generous, and fun.
