In recent years, there has been an explicit attempt within clinical spaces to understand, acknowledge and intervene more effectively with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) populations. As such, many mental health providers and teams are grappling with how to develop and implement clinical practices to ensure better adherence and fidelity to behavioral models. Learning Objectives:
- Identify clinical group scenarios where treatment interfering behaviors commonly occur, both by clinicians and patients.
- Learn how to intervene in group situations both principally and behaviorally.
- Identify clinical microaggressions in individual and group therapy sessions, alongwith tailored interventions.
- Understand how to implement repair protocol within your practive.
