This workshop will cover the groundwork and offer practical exercises to help you master The Harold:
Understand the Structure: Get a comprehensive introduction to the three-part structure of The Harold, from openings to group games to beats.
Explore Group Games: Discover a variety of group games that build strong ensemble play and learn how to identify 'the game of the scene.'
Create Connections: Develop the skills to find and create meaningful connections between beats, ensuring your scenes flow seamlessly and connect in unexpected ways.
Get ready for a great night of laughter, friends, and improv! This workshop is perfect for those with some improv experience who are looking for an introduction to longform.

About D’Arcy Briggs:
D'ARCY BRIGGS (he/him) has been an educator at all levels, from kindergarten to adult education. Honesty, play, and co-developing a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere is at the heart of everything he does.D'Arcy has been a performer, producer, and director for various improvised theatre groups. He is a co-founder of The Bakery (2023-), regularly performs with Paper Street Theater (Masterclass; MYTHOS, 2024), and has been a member of the Impromaniacs Theatre Company Society (various, 2007-2011). He is also a co-facilitator with ConnectPLAY, a low-stakes and high-acceptance space for adults of all backgrounds to join, connect, and play.
