Art+Object is delighted to present the catalogue for the final Important Paintings & Contemporary Art auction of 2024. The 82 lot catalogue features a broad array of twentieth and twenty-first century art. It includes works from the distinguished collections of Ian and Elespie Prior, and the Northland Arts Advisor, Sydney Kelly. The catalogue is headlined by an impeccably-provenanced, major assemblage by the late New Zealand-born artist, Rosalie Norah Gascoigne whose major works are seldom seen in the country of her birth. Several significant works by seminal New Zealand artists Ralph Hotere, Richard Killeen, and Pat Hanly also feature.The artworks will be on view every day from Thursday, November 14, until the day of the auction on Tuesday, November 21.
The auction will be conducted live in our Newton saleroom with online bidding available via our online bidding platform or app available on App Store or Google Play.
