Member Connections Event at Austin Creative Reuse
Join us in celebrating National Volunteer Month with a hands-on opportunity to support one of Impact Austin’s Community Partners! We are organizing a volunteer event with Austin Creative Reuse (ACR) to help process donated materials and support their sustainability efforts.

📍 Location: ACR Center, 2005 Wheless Lane, Austin, TX 78723
ACR received an Impact Austin grant in 2023 for its Materials Mobile project. The ACR, a 2023 Impact Austin grant recipient, runs the Materials Mobile—a mobile pop-up where K-12 educators can "shop" for classroom supplies at little to no cost. During this volunteer event, we’ll be sorting and organizing donated materials in ACR’s workspace. Staff will also offer an optional tour of the center for those interested.

After volunteering, we’ll head to Hank’s Austin (5811 Berkman Drive) for an optional happy hour—feel free to join us!
