About this Event
The conference will examine several farm labor issues. What are the effects of changes to the AEWR methodology and of California’s 8/40 overtime law? What is the status of farm worker housing, health and safety, and labor law compliance, what are the priorities of federal and state agencies, and how do employers and worker advocates perceive farm labor issues? Researchers will present analyses of data that are discussed by agency staff, farm employers, and worker advocates.
