A rare, immersive sound bath and Reiki experience with two practitioners at the serene Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden
About this Event

Join us for a rare and intimate evening at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden — a space rooted in harmony, balance, and contemplative design.

This offering brings together sound, stillness, and subtle energy work within one of Vancouver’s most unique cultural spaces. Held by two highly experienced practitioners, the experience is designed to support not only deep relaxation, but a greater sense of coherence, clarity, and internal balance.

Your experience begins before the session itself.

Guests are invited to arrive early, from 6:00 PM, for a private window to wander the garden. Move through the pathways at your own pace, take in the architecture and natural elements, and allow the environment to gently guide you into a more grounded, receptive state.

At 6:30 PM, we gather indoors for a deeply immersive sound bath and restorative meditation.

A rich, layered soundscape of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and subtle vibrational instruments will guide you into a state of profound relaxation. Throughout the experience, individual, consent-based Reiki is offered, providing an added layer of support and attentiveness that is rarely found in group settings.

The result is a serene, immersive, and reverential experience — one that invites you to slow down, release accumulated tension, and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful and embodied way.
What to Expect

  • Private access to wander the garden (from 6:00 PM)
  • A guided arrival, including context for the evening and how to work with sound, intention, and awareness
  • A facilitated opening circle with introductions and spoken intention setting
  • Reflective journaling with prompts to support reflection and integration
  • Optional, encouraged sharing to build connection and community
  • Immersive sound bath with crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, and other healing instruments
  • Individual Reiki offered throughout the session
  • A deeply restorative, intentionally held atmosphere

This experience includes both guided participation and restful immersion, and is designed to be engaged with rather than purely observational.
