About this Event
Cancer Trials Ireland, in collaboration with Beaumont RCSI Cancer Centre and MEDSIR, is hosting an IIT Think Tank focused on developing new investigator-initiated cancer trials.
This session will bring together investigators, trainees and collaborators for a structured, discussion-led forum designed to support early-stage trial ideas. The Think Tank will focus on concepts across breast, melanoma, lung, genitourinary and CNS tumour types, with the aim of identifying unmet clinical needs and exploring opportunities for collaborative trial development.
A series of short concept presentations will form the core of the session. Selected investigators will present early-stage ideas, followed by a structured discussion led by experienced clinicians and researchers. These discussions are intended to provide constructive, multidisciplinary input to help refine concepts, strengthen study design, and support progression towards future development and funding opportunities.
The session is designed to foster a supportive, collaborative environment that encourages open discussion and shared expertise. It will also provide attendees with an opportunity to engage with colleagues across sites and disciplines, contribute to the development of new trial ideas, and build connections within the cancer trials community.
Participation is encouraged both from those wishing to bring forward a concept and from those who would like to contribute to the discussion and provide input on emerging ideas. To submit a concept, please email [email protected]
