This event is designed for complete beginners who are interested in boosting their training skills and relationship with their dogs and enthusiasts of the sport to experience training elements of the IGP (formerly known as IPO) routine with dog-friendly methods. ALL BREEDS ARE WELCOME! PET DOG OWNERS WELCOME!
‘Schutzhund’ is the German word for ‘protection dog’ and refers to a sport IGP (IGP- Internationale Gebrauchshund Pruefung, previously known as IPO) that was developed initially to determine which dogs could be used for breeding and which had true working ability.

There are three phases in IGP: Tracking, Obedience and Protection. During those training sessions you can chose whether you want to work on the Obedience or Protection (Bitework) part.
Alex will explain and discuss in details ways to develop drives, build grips, motivation and confidence, problem solving and answer all of your questions.
Nowadays many people are involved in this sport as a form of activity with dog that gives outlet of inborn drives, promotes confidence and builds great relationship.
