🐾✨ IOWA COUNTY… GRAB YOUR PAJAMAS. ✨🐾We’re throwing a slumber party.
There will be snacks.
There will be yawns.
There will definitely be barking.
And at least one cat silently questioning your life choices. 🐶🐱
On April 18–19, Iowa County Humane Society is hosting its 2nd annual Shelter Slumber Pawty — a 24-hour fundraising event where animal lovers spend time inside the shelter to support the animals in our care.
And this year?
💥 We’re going for $50,000.
Because food, litter, medical care, enrichment, and second chances aren’t free.
Here’s how you can paw-ticipate:
🛏️ Hang Out in a Dog Kennel or Cat Room
Spend time with the dogs (expect enthusiasm).
Spend time with the cats (expect side-eye).
Drop in for an hour, take a longer shift, or stay overnight if you’re feeling bold. PJs encouraged. Overnight optional.
📲 Fundraise From Anywhere
Create your page, tell your story, and text literally everyone you know (nicely). Every $10, $25, $50 adds up fast.
👨👩👧 Make It a Family Thing
Kids, coworkers, friend groups — join as a team and make it a memory. Matching pajama sets? Not required… but highly respected.
🏢 Businesses — Join the Pawty
Sponsor a kennel. Match donations. Donate in-kind items for fundraising prizes. Help us power this $50K goal.
🎒 Schools: Pajama Day – April 16
Two days before the big event, schools can host Pajama Day to build excitement and support the animals.
📅 Fundraising kicks off March 27.
It’s cozy.
It’s a little rowdy.
It’s full of personality (mostly feline).
But it’s also about real animals who rely on us every single day.
